ENANTIOS and Datapetal team up to certify medical instruments

A Datapetal customer case study
ENANTIOS is a Swiss startup and producer of pharmaceutical and medical instruments. The safe development of such high-precision medical devices requires a rigorous failure analysis, including a FMEA.
Since March 2024, ENANTIOS uses the AI-based Datapetal tool to make this process simpler and more productive. The datapetal.ai webservice helped to create an FMEA analysis for the second instrument generation “Brachium” of Raman optical activity (ROA) instruments, currently under development at ENANTIOS. The basis for the analysis was a manual with the description of the hardware and software components, as well as its functions and typical operation procedures. The most important components were the laser and the camera system allowing to measure the effect.
The cooperation has since then yielded fruitful results. In the words of Dr. Roman Wyss (CTO of ENANTIOS): “The website and tool overall work well and a very detailed FMEA analysis was created. […] The FMEA web application by Datapetal not only saved us time but also simplified the entire process, from generating failure modes to analyzing causes and effects. We couldn’t have achieved this level of efficiency in such a short amount of time using other techniques or software.” ENANTIOS further gave valuable customer feedback about possible improvements. This achievement was also published on Linkedin on March 2024.
Datapetal will continue to enable partners to accelerate and facilitate their safety certification process. Do to so, we are in touch with all of small start-ups, mid-size companies, and large enterprises. Requested customer features are continuously being integrated in our web-based service tool on datapetal.ai.
